I used this map when training intel Soldiers that were preparing for JSOC deployments. You can use it to track report activities in the United States or other regions. Oftentimes the information beats the news cylce by several minutes to several hours. Scroll through and check recent reports, click on the icons in the map, actively monitor for a few hours or days and check reports against the news. I find this map especially useful during any active/ongoing event or action. As a note, you may have to refresh the screen if it has been idle
